Hello, I was asked to write about my experience with Medilodge of Clare when my mother, Carol Cotton, was a resident there. My mother was in the Dementia Unit. I was there several times a week, along with my brothers, who also came at different times. I saw nothing but caring people taking care of my mom. Megan Fry is wonderful. She is so caring. She kept the residents busy with activities, she was always doing something different, like hat day, or dress up day. The people love her. The nurses and aides were very good and sweet to the patients. They were always updating me on my mom’s health conditions.
I was very nervous to send my mother to a home. I had taken care of her at my home for several years. After i put my mom in Medilodge of Clare I knew that i made the right decision there was no question about that. Of course I would've liked my mom to live with me but i could no longer take care of her.
The rooms were very clean.
I miss the time going there since my mom passed away. It was her home away from home.
