I arrived at MediLodge of Clare for a fractured hip and immediately felt welcome. My rehab was the main concern of all staff; they assisted me in all my needs no matter what they were. My rehab was very good with some follow-up at home. I was offered to participate in all activities. If I ever need this kind of care again, I would ask for MediLodge.
This has been the best loving and caring place to be in the world! Everybody is sweet and so much love!! God is good and I understand this way now. Thank you to a beautiful staff. My love to all of you.
Having my rehab here at MediLodge was a wonderful choice. I felt very at ease and at home here. Every one of the CNAs was so friendly and helpful. Two of them (Kendra & Kathryn) did everything that I asked of them no matter how crazy the request was. The nurses always had time to listen to my concerns and answered every question I asked. The physical therapy team was amazing. I am now able to do things that I thought I would never do so soon after my surgery. When I had to talk to one of the administrative staff, I was treated with respect and was never talked down to. I would recommend MediLodge to anyone who needed rehab and as a great place to recuperate. Thank you to everyone!
This is my second time here for recovery and my family [at MediLodge of Clare] greeted me with open arms. Like before I was taken care of and my complaints were taken care of as well. I am leaving here and it feels good to know that I can come back and live better. Shannon, my resident care advocate is the best! Anonymous
I would like to recognize one of the MediLodge of Clare CNAs. While I received great care here from everyone, Stacey really made my experience here great! She made sure that I was happy, clean, and safe. Safety was a major concern for me as my self-confidence was lacking. She deserves recognition for a job well done. I love Felicia. She is my BOO! She made me laugh and that’s so important.
Hello, my name is Russell Pettigrew. I would like to give praise to the whole staff at MediLodge of Clare. they were very helpful in my stay here and everyone made sure all of my needs were met. Shannon was the best, she made sure everything I needed was a top priority and everyone made me feel like I was part of the family, so much that I wish I could stay here forever! Thank you so much for everything and I love you all so much. So long!
Service is excellent, took good care of me. Kimmy Hines, she is very knowledgeable. Therapy was so good to me. Everyone was so friendly to me and my wife. I sat out there in front and everyone would say “Hi Ted!” That really means something—like we belong here. If anything ever happens again, I will be choosing this place!
It was a great stay, all my ladies were awesome and PT was super. They all helped me to get better quick so I could go home. Thanks to everyone.
Kimmy Hines and Ed are the best CNAs! Therapy was great! Anlee and Sandra were tough but they were amazing with me. The rest of the staff were very nice too. The nurses were very helpful and I had a great roommate—the girl from Lake Shannon. The resident advocate was cheerful and happy.
Thank you for the cards and for teaching me how to play solitaire. It is very fun and relaxing. I am happy we had time together, you are so sweet and thoughtful. I am thankful you came into my life and made happiness. You are a lovely person. God Bless you
I cant say enough about the staff at Medilodge of Clare. They are kind, loving, patient, fun and caring. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you have done f0r me and my family.
My wife who had dementia called Medilodge of Clare her home for 7 months. While it was difficult for her to leave our home, Medilodge of Clare provided a homelike atmosphere for her. I would recommend Medilodge of Clare for three reasons:
1. The staff at Medilodge were professional, caring, patient and always kept me informed of my wife’s condition. They treated her with the respect she deserved.
2. The layout of the facility provided much needed security for my wife. I knew she was safe when i was not present. Additionally, the view from the large sitting area was very serene enabling my wife to see the pond and various wildlife.
3. The facility was always clean. There were never any unpleasant odors.
I do not regret my decision and would do it over again if necessary.
Hello, I was asked to write about my experience with Medilodge of Clare when my mother, Carol Cotton, was a resident there. My mother was in the Dementia Unit. I was there several times a week, along with my brothers, who also came at different times. I saw nothing but caring people taking care of my mom. Megan Fry is wonderful. She is so caring. She kept the residents busy with activities, she was always doing something different, like hat day, or dress up day. The people love her. The nurses and aides were very good and sweet to the patients. They were always updating me on my mom’s health conditions.
I was very nervous to send my mother to a home. I had taken care of her at my home for several years. After i put my mom in Medilodge of Clare I knew that i made the right decision there was no question about that. Of course I would’ve liked my mom to live with me but i could no longer take care of her.
The rooms were very clean.
I miss the time going there since my mom passed away. It was her home away from home.
My Mother, Helen Heintz, Spent the last year of her life in the Memory Care Unit at Medilodge of Clare. To have to admit a parent in to a nursing home facility is not only a very hard choice- but a scary choice for the family.
The process of admitting her and help with the financial issues from Kelly Grossett were amazing!! Kelly walked me through every process and always had time for my questions or to assist me She was a true blessing in a very confusing process. I will always be grateful for her professional wisdom and help!!!
Of course as a family- your concerns jump to all the bad press that Nursing Homes have received and the horror stories you hear from other friends and family.
NOT the case with my Mom. My Mother was treated with the utmost care and dignity for the last year of her life. We found the facility to be clean, functional for her needs and happy to say- her needs always came first. The Nurses called to report any little issue that may have occured and kept me very informed on her condition. We sisters were there on almost a daily basis and never observed anything to make us question her care in any way.
Mom was well taken care of and you felt the affection and love from her caregivers for her. What a gift to us and mom. The staff was always more than willing to take the time to discuss Mom’s condition and answer any questions we had.
When Mom passed- several of her caregivers at Medilodge of Clare attended her funeral. Mom died in June- in December a Christmas ornament was left at my house in remembrance of her- a gift from Medilodge of Clare. They continued to warm my heart and remember Mom.
I have the highest regard and respect for all the staff and caregivers at this facility. I would recommend Medilodge of Clare to anyone who needed this end of life home and wonderful care.
At the age of 91, and experiencing increased dementia, our Mother could no longer live in her own home and she became a resident of Medilodge of Clare. The family was assisted in all aspects of her admission in a professional and caring manner, and the administrative buisness managers remained availible to us whenevr we had questions.
Mom received excellent care from every one of the staff members at Medilodge of Clare; from the CNA’s to the Nurses and the Living Moments Program Director. They sought to comfort Mom in times of stress, and joyfully interacted with her to celebrate the things that she enjoyed, like dancing. She was always treated with dignity and great loving care.
The greatest gift that Medilodge of Clare gave our family was teaching us to “live in the moment” with Mom.
The family of Sister Mary Josepha Wentworth wishes to thank you for the wonderful care that she received while she was at your facility. There was so much lovely care, love, and respect for her from the staff. We especially want to thank Bob and Megan for being there through her last days on this earth. They showed us so much love and concern for her and also to us.
MediLodge of Clare is excited to announce the new addition to the Activity Department… Marena Riffe! Marena moved to Michigan from Colorado in February 2019 where she became a CNA...
